Our medical team of nationally registered EMT-Basics, EMT-Paramedics, and nurses along with our fleet of ambulances, vans, and helicopters stand ready to provide care in hundreds of communities throughout Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.

Acadian's services reflect the innovation we are known for throughout the industry. Some of the cutting-edge technology and practices that serve our patients include:

• Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system used by Acadian's dispatch center, which allows us to track units in real time.
• Viper telephone system, which links Acadian Dispatch to 911 centers in our service areas, providing ANI-ALI information (automatically generated caller information) to our system.
• Cardiac Alert system within our ambulances, which wirelessly transmits 12-lead EKGs directly to hospitals, notifying the cardiac cath teams about incoming ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients.
